Fencing and enclosures

Fencing and enclosures consist of the planning, supply, and installation of vertical physical barriers to define perimeters, protect, isolate, or decorate land, property, construction sites, or infrastructure. This activity is carried out in the residential, residential-industrial, agricultural, livestock, and public works sectors.
Specialisations
Vallado metálico

Metal fencing (The most common and versatile)

These are steel, iron, or aluminium structures designed to offer strength and durability at a low maintenance cost.
  • Single-twist chain-link mesh (Cyclone fencing): Galvanised diamond-shaped woven wire. It is the most cost-effective option for estates, agricultural plots, and sports facilities.
  • Welded wire mesh (Hercules mesh): Rigid welded wire panels with reinforcing folds. It offers enhanced aesthetics and security in detached houses, schools and residential areas.
  • Knot agricultural fence Knotted horizontal and vertical wires with larger gaps at the top. Designed to contain livestock and protect rural properties without harming local wildlife.
  • Solid or Pegaso profile sheet: Opaque steel panels that completely block visibility from the outside. Widely used in industrial units and plots.
Vallado de madera

Wooden and Composite Fencing

Designed to blend aesthetically with the landscape, rural environment or garden decor.
  • Wooden slat fences: Treated wooden panels for outdoor use (autoclave) that limit visibility on residential plots.
  • Post and rail fences: Rustic structures used in equestrian centres, footpaths, natural parks and recreational estates.
  • Composite (WPC) fences: A blend of wood fibres and polymers. They require no maintenance, do not rot and simulate natural wood.

Site Fencing and Precast Panels (Opaque enclosures)

Heavy masonry works that offer the maximum level of security, acoustic insulation and privacy.
  • Concrete block walls: Construction of rendered or fair-faced walls on a reinforced concrete strip footing.
  • Prefabricated hollow-core slabs: Prefabricated concrete panels that fit between steel beams driven into the ground. Very common on industrial estates.
Valla de seguridad para eventos

Temporary Fencing (Site or events)

Mobile and demountable structures designed to cordoning off hazard zones or regulate pedestrian access.
  • Blind panel or mesh site fences: Metal panels slotted into concrete bases to secure the perimeter of new construction sites or renovations.
  • Pedestrian barriers (Council-type barriers): Lightweight iron or plastic structures to channel crowds at events, concerts or processions.
Process
1

Setting out and Measurement

The exact terrain is demarcated using stakes and strings to mark the fence line, ensuring no encroachment on adjacent plots or public roads.
2

Excavation of Pits

Digging holes in the ground at regular intervals (usually every 2.5 or 3 metres) where the support posts will be anchored.
3

Installation and Concreting of Posts

Metal or timber posts are inserted, plumbed, and the pits are filled with concrete to ensure their structural anchoring. Bracing posts are installed at corners and along long spans.
4

Installation of the Fencing

If it is chain-link mesh: Horizontal tension wires are placed, tightened using steel tensioners, and the mesh is stapled. If they are rigid panels (Hercules or timber): They are fixed directly to the posts using clamps, clips, or security screws in a modular way.
5

Installation of Gates and Privacy Screening

Installation of pedestrian or vehicle access gates. Optionally, privacy screening elements such as natural heather, artificial hedge or shading mesh are added.
